Collette Cullen

Actor / Author / Educator

Collette Cullen is an actor, author, and educator with a vision to create opportunity for all voices to soar. Cullen's career as a special educator with differently abled, marginalized children influenced her writings. These children became her muses for the essential question:

"How do we access and embrace all voices?"

Cullen's works are "calls to action"—transformative urgings honoring the ancestors, generating reflections and engagement of the audience. Theatre is a language; her works are tools for discourse on voice, equity, and access.

"Dialogue cannot exist however in the absence of profound LOVE for the world and for people." — Paulo Freire

Vision

"The day I met my teacher was my soul's birthday." — Helen Keller

As an artist, Collette's works are alchemical music curated to create opportunities of engagement, healing, and inclusion of voice. Her intention is to create a legacy where all voices matter and harmony reigns.
